* Derrick Santini comenzó a tomar fotografías a la edad de 13 años. Nacido en North Yorkshire estudió fotografía en Harrogate College. * Derrick Santini hails from Scarborough North Yorkshire and started taking pictures at the age of 13, first studying photography at Harrogate College, then completing a degree at The London College of printing.

Initially prolific in reportage Derrick quickly became renowned for his intimate portraiture combined with his signature lighting and composition, as well as for his music photography. Shortly thereafter his work shifted its focus to a genre that was inherently fashion yet included elements at the root of Derrick's approach to making genuine photographs. Derrick lives between New York and London.
